Production of GoodsBackground
The Industrial Revolution changed the way products and goods were produced. The new machines and factories invented during the 18th and 19th centuries led to a shift from a predominantly agricultural society to one where manufacturing made mass production possible. Water was an important source of power for industry, and local examples of hydroelectricity can still be seen along the Fox River in Appleton today. Positive Influences
Negative Influences The dreadful side of the Industrial Revolution included terrible living conditions and sickness. Some of the problems that arose are still a struggle today.
